Experience Atom Hadm. With influences ranging from Sonic Youth to Denali, NIN to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs - their spacey, organic sounds have radio listeners and indie rockers alike feeling divinely inspired.  Hooking dexterous tunes with stories of struggle, tragic loss, and the beauty of the natural world, this train spans miles in seconds, bringing weary travelers to destinations not found on  your mainstream map. Innovative and angular, growling and crooning, Atom Hadm's musical ambitions are made up of the sum of their parts, rather than a stand alone showcasing of talent.
Atom Hadm was formed in the autumn of 2007 in an unheated guest house in the countryside of Central New York. Producer and drummer, Mark Lavonier teamed with synth and sample ornamentalist Glenn Prior to forge their collective creativity, evoking their love of dead voice, intrepid keys and live drums. When guitar and bass player David DePasquale entered their musical world, they slapped high fives and began writing. A short three weeks later the trio had several songs in progress and began to yearn for a voice for this new band, and in a unique twist of sound and time, singer Tina Ruth drifted in on a kareoke snowbank to share their vision. Atom Hadm delivers a voice that is honest, poignant and picturesque. Their musicality allows Atom Hadm to swoon the hardest of hearts and reject the lovesick suitor. Inspired by old stories and lost poems hard-hitting runs and inventive passages abound in this creative and fearless band, rife with momentum and eclectic energy.
Looking Out, a 6 song EP was independently released in late summer of 2008, and they anticipate another release in 2009.
